2012: a year of clean slates, far away comfort zones and the vast unknown future. But maybe it’ll be bright and happy. Here’s to hoping.

I’m so far away from everything and everyone I love

We’re all just trying to make shit beautiful

I need to practice at life so I can get better at it.

Okay, honestly, before Superman: Earth One I would not be dead making fanart of the guy. But I’ve read it, and, well. There you go.
I never liked Superman. I disliked him for his lack of a weakness (aside from a rock of Kryptonite, really? I don’t know the backstory as I have never read a Superman comic book in my life, so I apologize to the hard core fans. Read this one on a whim because I was curious) Also, the whole “Look, I now have thick, black glasses and a cowlick! You don’t know who I am anymore! You don’t recognize me from anywhere!” What furthered my beliefs was It’s A Bird by Steven T. Seagle. (I’d recommend it to anyone. Amazing art. Amazing story.)
But now I don’t think he’s half bad. I do hate that they are marketing to the “Twilight” kids/”hipsters” (with his ‘edgy’ look) But I honestly think the story is interesting.
Then again it could be because he alludes to one of my favorite characters - Spider-man. The angst. The absent father figure. The love interest. (Also, was Superman really that smart?)
But I digress. I just find the comic interesting. And thus ends my little 4:30 AM entry. Thanks for stopping by. Do let me know what you think as well :)

So I’ve been going through a few things lately…

So I’ve been going through a few things lately…

So I watched this: (http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/videos/28426/181890) interview of Joe(seph Gordon Levitt) and he said that (^) statement up there. It reminded me of what Conan O’Brien had said before he went off air. “All I ask of you, especially young people … is one thing. Please don’t be cynical. I hate cynicism — it’s my least favorite quality and it doesn’t lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen. I’m telling you, amazing things will happen.” And both are incredible people, thus I made a little tribute to them. :)
Hello everyone. Hope you are well. :)

So it’s been crazy. Huge understatement.
I wish there were an interesting book that would update me on how everyone’s lives has been going since I’ve been away from here. (Here meaning the intarwebz) I honestly don’t know what to say right now. I’m… very ashamed at how I’ve suddenly dropped off the face of the online world. It’s taking a lot out of me to post this after such a long time… I think there’s a saying fitting to a situation like this. Better late than never?
(Deep breath) That aside! I watched an interesting documentary called “Art & Copy.” I recommend ANYONE to watch it, honestly. It’s such an interesting take on advertising, the media, creativity and art in general. (That’s where I got the quote up there. I don’t take credit for that kind of genius. :) Heh)
I suppose that’s about it. Thanks for tuning in. Hopefully you’ll be seeing more of me in the near future. :)

January 30, 2010, 11AM-ish (for me) - Sitting in the 3D animation room, supposed to be making this thing resembling a person walk/move, but instead squealing about the hitrecord Sundance screening (live stream). You guys are incredible. We’ve made it! Sundance, Global Regularity & soon the Nebularity! (copyright of RichieM :D)
Thanks again by heart <3
